St. Jude Snowflakes by Coraliz Cotton Fabric

JOANN will donate $1.50 to St. Jude Children's Research Hospitalfor every yard sold of St. Jude patient-designed fabric.

When Coraliz was 10 years old, her left leg began to hurt and she had trouble walking to and from school. After undergoing a CT scan, the results revealed a mass on her leg. A biopsy confirmed she had a type of bone cancer called osteosarcoma.

Coraliz’s doctor referred her to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, where her treatment included chemotherapy and surgery to remove the affected bone. She also underwent physical therapy to help her regain strength and mobility in her leg. During treatment Coraliz and her family lived in St. Jude-provided housing.

She visits St. Jude every year as part of St. Jude’s After Completion of Therapy Clinic, the goal of which is to help survivors stay healthy. Coraliz is currently 17 years old and in high school, where she enjoys math and art classes.
